F.A.S.T

Farm AgriTech Service Tool

Farming AgriTech Service Tool (F.A.S.T) is a system used to capture simulated data such as speed, and fuel consumption from farming equipment and present it in a graphical format. By taking advantage of Farming Simulator 2019,  FAST is able to format captured data into J1939, a standard vehicle protocol, to graphs. With FAST, users can emulate real world scenarios with a variety of equipment and translate it to better understand and maintain their equipment.

Key Technologies:

Key Technologies

  • J1939 and CAN bus protocols - these protocols are the basis of the project and the format used by farm equipment to send data

  • commercially hosted database - information about the J1939 protocol is hosted by a cloud service so that each component of the software can access the information
